How to become a dental nurse and build a successful career

Becoming a dental nurse requires a combination of education, training and practical experience. Here are the steps you need to take to become a dental nurse:

Fees and Funding

Given that this course requires paid employment, the tuition fees can be covered by the salary you earn while undergoing the programme. Furthermore, a considerable number of dental practices offer financial support to students. To ease the burden of payment, an instalment scheme is available with payment options. As a result, students can meet the requirements of the course without incurring student debt.

The study mode

The course offers theoretical training that can be accessed either online via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) or through traditional face-to-face classes, which are typically held fortnightly at our Acton centre.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry qualifications but students are expected to be sufficiently fluent in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with patients, their relatives, the dental team and other healthcare professionals in the UK. .

Assessment and exam formats

The Diploma in Dental Nursing assessment and exam format consists of three components.
