Mission
The School of Dental Nursing’s mission is to create opportunities to those wanting to make a valued contribution to the Health and Wellbeing of Dental patients. SDN is a vital link between intending dental nurses and other dental professionals and dental practices by delivering high quality, flexible and value for money courses for the dental nursing profession.
What we do
Whether you are a recent school leaver or looking for a mid-life change of career, and want to be involved in the important dental care sector the School of Dental Nursing’s accredited programme will provide you with a secure foundation on which to build your career. Your dental nursing course will include ‘hands on’ paid employment which will complement your classroom or online learning and build your confidence in dealing with both clients and dental professionals. Our record of student achievement has been consistently above the national average and many of our students have gone on to enjoy exciting and fulfilling careers in the expanding and important dental sector of Health Care.
Our dental nursing diploma course is delivered at Acton (West London) and our time-table is structured to meet the flexible requirements of our learners who are drawn from many different backgrounds. There is an option of attending the College on Saturdays for those who find this a convenient option in order to balance other commitments. Alternatively you can study the course online with full learning support and access to a designated tutor. Many of our students choose this option which allows them to work at their own pace.
