Who we are

The School of Dental Nursing has been preparing student trainees for the NEBDN National Diploma for over ten years with excellent success rates and high student satisfaction scores. Our traditional face-to-face classes are based in Reading and Acton but we have also recently made substantial investment in online delivery and thereby aim to provide our course to students throughout the UK.

What we do

We recruit enthusiastic, talented students aspiring to be qualified Dental Nurses and the majority are new to the Dental industry at the beginning of their training. We select, support, and nurture them. We help them to find suitable Dental practices where they are valued and can apply the theoretical teaching we provide to clinical settings. Additionally they gain experience of team working and patient care on the way to achieving their National Diploma and GDC registration. Our teaching is delivered by experienced and highly qualified practitioners many of whom have their own practices and aim to instil the professional qualities that are integral to the delivery of outstanding patient care. To complement the Dental Nursing course we also offer a number of high quality CPD courses.

We value our links with the Dental industry and our practice partnerships in order to work together to produce high quality dental nurses. We achieve this by understanding their training needs and by providing sympathetic, comprehensive and accessible learning support and by asking sponsoring practices

• raise any concerns at an early stage
